EVERETT, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fortive Corporation (“Fortive”) (NYSE: FTV) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.07 per share of its common stock, par value $0.01 per share, payable on March 29, 2019 to common stockholders of record on February 22, 2019. In addition, Fortive announced today that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $12.50 per share of its 5.00% Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock, Series A, par value $0.01 per share, payable on April 1, 2019 to preferred stockholders of record on March 15, 2019. Although Fortive expects to pay dividends on a quarterly basis, any subsequent declaration of dividends, including the amount, the record dates and the payment dates for any such future dividend payments, is subject to the discretion of the Board of Directors.

DIVESTITURE OF THE A&S BUSINESS
On October 1, 2018, Fortive completed the previously announced split-off of its Automation & Specialty platform (excluding Fortive’s Hengstler and Dynapar businesses) (the “A&S Business”).
